Beware the Alder, beware the Ash
Those cunning woodland monsters.
One is beautiful as Venus herself
Her companion a Nosferatu.
He is the cage and she the bait
And what a lovely duo they make.
Many a man hath followed her
And reached a dishonorable death.
So beware the maiden of marble skin
Though she be as exquisite as the sun.
For the sun blinds you from true
Danger until your fate is done.

I didn't know that people still read it. It's my favourite book. I love your poem, by the way. There are some very ethereal images in there. It's very good.
